It's no secret that we love baseball in the Northeast. When it comes to supporting our teams, Yankees, Red Sox and Mets fans are famous for being some of the best and most devoted.
Well, baseball fans, the wait is finally over. With the much-anticipated first crack of the bat on Opening Day, we got one step closer to summer and back to such simple pleasures as Fenway Franks, the raising of the home run apple at Citi Field, and singing along to "New York, New York" after the final out at Yankee Stadium.
As you prepare to cheer on your favorite team this year, take a look at our baseball guides below for helpful tips and recommendations on things to see, do and eat in and around all three major league Northeast baseball stadiums. Click around and explore to find everything from how to get Green Monster seats to the tastiest baseball stadium hot dogs in the country. For a fun daytrip or road trip, we've even included a guide to nearby minor league teams.
It's only the beginning of the season, but it's never too early to start thinking about the championship games in October. Maybe we'll get to see the Red Sox, Mets or Yankees play in the World Series again or – even better – a Yankees versus Red Sox series.
